Training and consultancy services
Greenwich Community College now has a key role as a training provider for the development of Greenwich and the South East Thames area. Much of the focus is on service sector industries: sport, recreation and leisure, travel and tourism, in addition to business studies and IT.
The College also has a unique working association with the Championship football club, Charlton Athletic, in providing education for sport and leisure management at the London Leisure College, which was recently awarded Beacon status.
The Training Solutions team at Greenwich Community College offers training and consultancy services to private, public and voluntary sector businesses as well as to individuals.
The team currently works with a wide variety of small and medium enterprises, micro businesses and larger employers across a wide range of sectors, helping businesses to:
· Develop their employees
· improve productivity by training staff
· retain staff
· access additional funding for training.
The advice and training can be delivered on a flexible basis, either at the college or within the workplace, whichever is most appropriate.
