The University of Greenwich
 
The University of Greenwich traces its roots back to 1890 and is now situated on the south bank of the River Thames in central Greenwich, on the grounds of the old Royal Naval College which is part of Maritime Greenwich and the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Further campuses are located at Medway, in Kent, and at Avery Hill in Eltham, South London.
 
The University delivers undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses to over 24,000 students, across the full range of disciplines.
 
The University has Schools covering disciplines such as Architecture, Business, Education, Health & Social Care, Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Computing & Mathematical Sciences as well as a range of Humanities & Social Science subjects. It also has strong links with further education colleges in the Thames Gateway area, and plays a leading regional role in training teachers, nurses and social care professionals.
 
Proud of its diverse student body, the University offers high quality education to students from a wide range of backgrounds.
The University currently has an international student community of 4,000, who contribute much to its thriving multicultural academic community.
