The Greenwich Research & Enterprise Office
The Greenwich Research & Enterprise Office (GRE) at the University of Greenwich serves as a first point of contact for businesses and organisations wanting to access the University's research and enterprise knowledge and expertise.
GRE’s clients range from small businesses to large multi-nationals, as well as public sector organisations. Clients have included Alcatel, BAe Systems, BP, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, KPMG, Roll Royce, Tate and Lyle, Shell and Unilever.
Services for businesses include:
· Access to expertise for analytical services, technical solutions, and staff secondments
· access to facilities, such as laboratory testing, conference and meeting rooms
· access to funding and subsidies for companies, including schemes such as Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)
· contract research and consultancy services
· new product development for companies through licensing and joint ventures
· skilled employees through training, students placements and graduates.
