Secondary education in Greenwich
Last year saw the best ever GCSE results in Greenwich and best ever A-level results with achievement now higher than the national pass rate. This success reflects the hard work of Greenwich students, the quality of teaching and facilities. Good results provide a springboard for students to progress into higher education, training or employment.
These results come as Greenwich offers a growing range of subjects and courses for school leavers in the borough, alongside record numbers of young people continuing their education in Greenwich.
In addition to greater choice in post-16 studies, the secondary school curriculum is adapting further to provide even more opportunities for young people to achieve successful careers.
