Crown Woods Sports Campus is a specialist sports facility and will be open as a pre-games training camp from 2011 to 2012.
The sports hall (34m x 27.6m) has been designed primarily as a competition venue for high-level competition and features:
· 6 Badminton courts (or 4 with seating for 500) or
· or 2 full-size Basketball courts (with seating for 500) or
· or 2 full-size Volleyball courts (with seating for 500) or
· hall lighting to 595 lux
· high-performance suite including athlete strength and conditioning gym, performance analysis area, fitness testing capability, video analysis facilities, drug-testing area, first aid and medical treatment area.
