Central and strategic location
Greenwich is in an excellent location with first-class transport connections providing great accessibility for clients, suppliers and staff to London, Canary Wharf and City Airport. The Channel ports and rail links are close to Greenwich.
North Greenwich is located in Zone 2 – just outside of central London – one stop from Canary Wharf, and provides a quick connection to London City Airport. The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) – one of the first light rail systems in Britain – is set to open the Woolwich extension in 2009. Crossrail stations now confirmed for Woolwich and Abbey Wood will link Greenwich to the City in 6 minutes and Heathrow in 47 minutes.
Greenwich is also brilliantly placed to take advantage of the River Thames. With two new piers, the Thames Clipper boat service runs a regular commuter service between Woolwich, Greenwich and central London.
