Greenwich town centre borders on to the busy south east London commercial districts and it is strongly recommended that public transport is used whenever possible. At weekends the area is particularly busy due to the popular markets. On-street parking meters have stays of 2-4 hours.
There are off-street pay-and-display car parks in Park Row, Burney Street and Greenwich Park.
From the north use the motorways M25, M11, A12, through the Blackwall Tunnel.
From the south use M25, A2 (a fast route straight to Greenwich).
From Channel ports or Channel Tunnel, use the M2/A2 or M20/A20 routes.
